02 — Introduction

An Ontario Certified Teacher whose practice was shaped in three countries and five Ontario public schools.

I completed my Bachelor of Education at York University after earning a bachelor's degree in history at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a master's degree at Seoul National University, where I also worked as a teaching assistant in history education.

My Ontario school-based experience spans Junior and Intermediate classrooms with the Toronto District School Board and York Region District School Board, including an Intermediate LEAP classroom and a community practicum in an after-school program.

Multilingual classrooms are familiar ground. I work in English, Mandarin, and Korean, and that perspective shapes how I scaffold language, choose texts, and build routines students can rely on.
