Overview

Community Practicum — Beyond 3:30 After-School Program

  • Community education
  • Student engagement

Lawrence Heights was a community practicum completed through the Toronto Foundation for Student Success's Beyond 3:30 after-school program, rather than a classroom teaching placement.

Supporting students in Grades 6–8 from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, I assisted with academic, recreational, and group-based activities, and developed practical experience in behaviour management, student engagement, and creating a supportive after-school environment.

Built rapport with Grades 6–8 students across academic, recreational, and group activities.

  • Student engagement
